Duncan Swainsbury
Founder
Duncan Swainsbury is the founder of Bounceback Food CIC – a social enterprise that has been tackling food poverty and food waste across the UK since 2014. Having spent time volunteering at a foodbank in Manchester, he began developing Community Cookery School teams and more recently Community Kitchens – that collectively provide beneficiaries with nutritious meals, cooking skills and accredited qualifications. Duncan is now focussed on scaling Bounceback’s model across the UK, having donated 250,000 meals & taught more than 10,000 people how to cook predominantly in the North-West.
